I am sure many of you who are reading this are familiar with the call of duty franchise and its popularity around the world. As we all know this franchise is the worlds leading games when it comes to first person shooters, but when you think about it is this game all so special? I have created a list of pros and cons about the game that you might want to think about when the next call of duty comes out.

Lets start with the pros being that its not hard to list good things about the game since it has become so successful for a reason.

• The Campaign- One area of the game that always seems to draw people back to the game is the story line that creates the atmosphere for the rest of the game. The COD Franchise has always been able to add new ideas and different things into their campaign without it being to repetitive(Kind of).

 

• Multiplayer-  The multiplayer aspect of the game is what in my opinion where the game usually gets most of its attention. COD is one of the only games on the market that will give you the intense PvP action not found in some other games. What separates this multiplayer from others is that with call of duty there is no strategy needed unlike games such as Rainbow Six Siege or CS:GO.

Cons

• Repetitive- The one major downfall to not only the COD franchise but the whole FPS industry is the ability to come up with knew ideas to keep the player interactive in the game. COD has made an attempt at this by adding exo suits like in Advanced Warfare or creating the ability to work toward different weapon skins.

 

Hello everyone reading this my name is Marcus Karam and I am a student at Homer Senior High School writing blogs for my mass media class. Throughout high school I have many experiences with different groups of people to shape what I like to say are my favorite things which is what I will be primarily writing about in this blog! Some of these things include Video games, Tv shows, and what I consider some pretty awesome movies. Some Video games I enjoy honestly depend on the platform in use, personally I prefer playing certain games on PC even though being able to game on console has it perks. When it comes to movies my favorite category of movies is definitely sci-fi super hero movies including Marvel and DC series. This almost goes hand in hand when it comes to TV Shows because most of the shows that I enjoy are similar such as The Flash, Green Arrow or even Marvels Agents of Shield. Some of the ideas that will be expressed with this blog may not be popular with some but are how I feel on the subject manner. When it comes to video games I will not only be covering first person shooters because believe it or not there are other games out there like Assassins creed or Warframe.
